What GreekProperty.org is
GreekProperty.org is an independent editorial property-discovery platform. The Greek Property Deals section curates interesting Greek properties for an international-buyer audience, adding estimated acquisition costs, editorial buyer cautions, and direct links to the original third-party listings — so readers can research properties with more context than a bare listing page provides.
What GreekProperty.org is not
Unless explicitly and unambiguously stated otherwise in a specific listing, GreekProperty.org is not any of the following for any property featured on this site:
- The seller of the property
- The listing agent or estate agent
- A real-estate broker
- A legal adviser, solicitor, or lawyer
- An engineer or structural surveyor
- A property inspector
- A party to any transaction
We do not receive commission from sellers, agents, or brokers in connection with any featured property, and we are not representing any party in a transaction.
Sources and accuracy
Property details — including prices, descriptions, photographs, and availability — are sourced from third-party listings, agents, and portals. We link directly to those sources and verify the details against them at the date shown on each property page, but:
- Prices can change or be withdrawn at any time without notice.
- Availability is not guaranteed — properties may be under offer, sold, or removed.
- Listing details from third parties may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
Always verify all legal, technical, tax, financial, and property details independently, through a qualified Greek lawyer, notary, accountant, engineer, or surveyor, before taking any action in connection with a property.
Editorial descriptions
The editorial headlines, summaries, buyer cautions, and "why we selected it" text are independently written by GreekProperty.org. They represent our editorial perspective and are not provided by the seller, agent, or owner. They are not a recommendation to purchase any property, and they are not an appraisal, valuation, or professional assessment of any kind.
Acquisition cost estimates
Each property page includes an estimated total acquisition cost range. These estimates are calculated using the same assumptions as our property purchase cost calculator and are indicative planning figures only — not a quotation, guarantee, or professional advice. Actual costs depend on the specific property, the professionals you engage, current Greek tax rates, and your individual circumstances. Always get written cost estimates from your lawyer, notary, and accountant for any specific property.
Buyer cautions
The buyer cautions included on property pages are editorial observations based on publicly available listing information and general knowledge of common issues in the Greek property market. They are not the result of a professional survey, legal title search, or engineering inspection of the specific property. They highlight things worth asking about or investigating — they are not a substitute for proper professional due diligence.
Images
Property images are used only on an approved usage basis — either sourced from listings that permit reproduction, licensed, or replaced with a placeholder. Where an image source or credit is shown on a property page, that credit is accurate at the time of publication. If you believe an image has been used in error, please contact us.
Editorial independence and selection criteria
Properties are selected entirely on editorial merit — value, character, location, or international-buyer relevance. Payment does not guarantee editorial inclusion in Greek Property Deals, and payment will not be accepted in exchange for inclusion or removal of any property.
Sponsored properties
The current Phase 1 launch of Greek Property Deals does not include any sponsored property placements. If sponsored placements are introduced in the future, they will be clearly and prominently labelled as sponsored on every affected page. Sponsorship status will never affect the editorial content written about any property.
