Why this site exists
Relocating to Greece is one of the biggest decisions a person can make — and the English-language information available is often outdated, contradictory, or written to sell you something. We built GreekProperty.org to be the resource we wished existed: clear, meticulously researched, and genuinely independent.
Our perspective
This project is guided by a professional background in accounting and a personal connection to Greece. That combination shapes everything here — an accountant's insistence on getting the numbers and rules right, paired with an insider's understanding of how things actually work on the ground.
What we don't do
We are not a real-estate agency: we do not sell property or broker deals, and our editorial conclusions are never for sale. Where commercial relationships exist — such as provider profiles, sponsored placements, or compensated introductions — they are clearly disclosed where they appear, and they never steer what our guides say. Our guidance answers to you first, not to advertisers or partners.
